جراند ثفت أوتو 4 (بالإنجليزية: Grand Theft Auto IV) (يشار إليها ايضاً بـجي تي آي 4 أو جي تي آي IV) هي لعبة مقطع مرئي مفتوحة من نوع آكشن طورتها روكستار نورثونشرتها روكستار جيمز، [4]، وتم إصدارها للبلاي ستيشن 3 في
أقيانوسيا، أوروبا، وأمريكا التي بالشمال يوم 29 نيسان 2008، ,[5]، وفي اليابان يوم 30 تشرين الأول 2008.[6]. نسخة ويندوز من اللعبة على الحاسب الآلي أصدرت في أمريكا التي بالشمال يوم 2 شهر ديسمبر 2008 وفي أوروبا يوم 3 شهر ديسمبر [3][2][7]. إنها اللعبة الثلاثية الأبعاد السادسة في سلسلة غراند ثفت أوتو. تم افتتاح محتويين إضافيين للعبة للإكس بوكس 360، الأولى ذي لوست أند دامد وتم إصدارها يوم 17 شباط 2016 , الثانية ذي بالاد أوف غاي توني وتم إصدارها في 29 تشرين الأول 2009.[8] الجزأن أو الحلقتان تم إطلاقها في نسق بلاي ستايشن 3 ومايكروسوفت ويندوز يوم 13 شهر أبريل 2010.[9] تقع فعاليات اللعبة في نسخة معدلة من مدينة ليبرتي سيتي، وهي مدينة خيالية في الوقت المعاصر تشبه مدينة نيويورك. تدور حكاية اللعبة بخصوص نيكو بيليك، محارب قديم من الصرب.[10]. جاء إلى أميركا الأمريكية بحثا عن الحلم الأمريكي، [11] لكنه بشكل سريع يصبح متشابكا في عالم العصابات، الجناية، والفساد. مثل الألعاب الأخرى في نفس السلسلة، تتألف جي تي آي IV من عديدة أشكال لعب فهي لعبة قيادة للسيارات وكذلك هي تعتبر لعبة إطلاق رصاص من تصويب منظور الفرد الثالث. كما تمكن لللاعب أن يدور وحده في أماكن اللعبة ويتفاعل مع المحيط. كانت اللعبة منتظرة بشكل ملحوظ، لأنها أول لعبة من سلسلة غراند ثفت أوتو تصدر على أنظمة لعب الجيل السابع. لاقت اللعبة نجاحا تجاريا

في يوم صدورها و 500 مليون دولار إيرادات في الأسبوع الأول، حيث بيعت 6 ملايين نسخة بشأن العالم.[12][13] منذ شهر سبتمبر 2011, باعت اللعبة 22 مليون نسخة.[14]. ربحت لعبة غراند ثفت أوتو Ⅳ بالعديد من الجوائز الصحافية المخصصة بالألعاب أو الكتابة الصحفية الأساسية, بما في هذا عديدة جوائز "لعبة العام". بحلول 2012 باعت اللعبة 25 مليون نسخة. مثل ألعاب جي تي آي الماضية، محور لعب غراند ثفت أوتو IV يعطي اللاعب عالما وبيئة مفتوحة هائلة، حيث يمكن فيها لللاعب التحرك بحرية. على الأقدام، يمكن للشخصية التي يلعب بها أن تسير، تجري، تتسلق العوائق، وتسبح، وايضاً لا ننسى أوضح استخدام الأسلحة وإلى منحى القتال. يمكن للاعبين إستيلاء على وقيادة الكثير من وسائل النقل المتعددة، بما في هذا المركبات، القوارب وطائرات الهليكوبتر والدراجات البخارية. تستفيد غراند ثفت أوتو IV من الحركة الطبيعية لمحرك ألعاب المقطع المرئي أوفوريا، والذي يجمع بين الذكاء الاصطناعي والميكانيك الحيوي والفيزياء لجعل تصرفات وحركات الشخصيات والأشياء الأخرى في اللعبة كالناس في الشوارع والسيارات ملفتة للانتباه وواقعية. يمكن للشرطة الاستجابة من خلال التواصل من الناس او من بصيرة قوات الأمن إلى الاعب وهو يقتل او يسرق. مثل باقي السلسلة، وسائل النقل هي الكيفية الأساسية للتنقل في جي تي آي IV. كل أداة في اللعبة تستعمل الخريطة الضئيلة في اللعبة كجهاز جي بي إس. يمكن وضع "نقاط" في الخريطة، حيث تبدو لنيكو الطريق إلى المقر الذي سيذهب إليه. اللاعب يستطيع ايضاً أن يركب في عربة أجرة، التي تمكنه من التنقل والذهاب إلى الموضع الذي يريده بلا أن يتطلب إلى القيادة. ايضا يمكن إجتياز الوقت الذي يتجاوز داخل عربة الأجرة. إلا أن إذا حدث هذا سوف يأخذ منه المزيد من النقود. وخلال الملاحقات بالعربات، يمكن للاعب تركيز الكاميرا بخصوص المقصد المتنقل عبر الظغط المتواصل على زر الكاميرا السينيمائية، ايضاً يمكن له التصويب وافتتاح النار داخل العربة وأيضاً إلقاء القنابل والقنينات الحارقة.[15] غير ممكن للاعب قيادة الطائرات ذات الجناحين، والذي كان ممكنا في الألعاب الماضية، إلا أن يستطيع قيادة الهليكوبتر. اللعبة كذلك تنقصها المظلات، رغم أنه تم إضافتها في غراند ثفت أوتو: ذي بالاد أوف غاي توني. تحكي حكاية اللعبة عن رجل يدعى " نيكو بيليك " ذلك الرجل يقطن شرقي أوروبا حيث أنه واحد من المذنبين الخطيرين في دولته يملك من المشكلات ماتجعله
يرغب في السفر من بلده.لديه ذلك الرجل ابن سيطر يدعى " Roman ".
ابن عمه رومان سافر إلى نيويورك في حين نيكو بقى في دولته شرقي أوروبا، عقب مرحلة بدأت المشكلات تحل على رومان في نيويورك بدأت تتراكم عليه الديون وبدأت العصابات تهدده.فقام رومان بإرسال مراسلات عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى ابن عمه نيكو بأنه يقطن في نيويورك حياة أغنياء وأنه لديه 14 سياره رياضيه و لديه بنات وحمامات ساخنه.فقام نيكو بالسفر إلى ابن عمه رومان لأجل أن يرغب في العيش معه ولكن نحو وصول نيكو لنيويورك اكتشف أن ابن عمه رومان كذب عليه.فهو لا يملك أي شيء بأي حال من الأحوال إلا أنه لديه مخزن لسيارات الأجرة تكسبه اليسير من المال.فاتحد نيكو مع ابن عمه رومان لأجل أن يخرجه من المشكلات ويعودوا لحياتهم الطبيعية، فيدخل هو ايضا في حرب شوارع. الشخصيات التي ظهرت في غراند ثفت أوتو Ⅳ متعددة وتنتسب إلى أحياء مدينة ليبرتي سيتي, كما تنتمي إلى الكثير من العصابات والجماعات العنصرية المتغايرة. اللاعب يسيطر على نيكو بيليك, وهو من قدامى المحاربيين في حرب يوغوسلافيا.[10] وفق دان هاوسر, لن ترجع أي شخصية للعبة غراند ثفت أوتو Ⅳ من الأجزاء الماضية, لأن "أكثريتها قد لقي حتفه شددت ذلك المعلقات على الحوائط في اللعبة التي توميء إلى وفاة تلك الشخصيات. على ضد الأجزاء الفائتة من السلسلة, ممثلوا أصوات شخصيات غراند ثفت أوتو Ⅳ لا يشملون أي فرد معلوم أو شهير. حيث تم اختيار ممثلين أدنى شهرة مثل مايكل هوليك، جايسون زوموالت، تيموثي آدمز وكولي رانكس. اللعبة تتضمن على نادي كوميدي حيث نجد فيه كل من كات ويليامز وريكي غيرفيه. غراند ثفت أوتو: سان أندرياس (بالإنجليزية: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) هي لعبة مقطع مرئي من نوع عالم مفتوح وأكشن-مجازفات طورت من قبل روكستار نورث ونشرت عن طريق روكستار. وهي ثالث لعبة ثلاثية الأبعاد في سلسلة غراند ثفت أوتو وخامس أصدار أصلي لمنصة ألعاب والثامن عموماً في السلسلة. صدرت في تشرين الأول 2004 للبلي ستيشن 2 وفي شهر يونيو 2005 للأكس بوكس ومايكروسوفت ويندوز. وفي 2013 في ألاندرويد قد إستلمت نجاحاً هائلاً على صعيد الإنتقاد والمبيعات على المنصات الثلاثة. فهي أكثر لعبة بلي ستيشن 2 مبيعاً على الأطلاق. غراند ثفت أوتو: سان أندرياس سبقتها لعبة غراند ثفت أوتو: فايس سيتي وتبعتها لعبة غراند ثفت أوتو: ليبرتي سيتي ستوريز. تقع فعاليات اللعبة في ولاية سان أندرياس شبه الخيالية التي تتضمن على ثلاثة مدن أساسية: لوس سانتوس، مرتكزة على مدينة لوس أنجلوس وسان فييرو مرتكزة على مدينة سان فرانسيسكو ولاس فينتورس المبنية على مدينة لاس فيغاس وتفصل بين تلك المدن مساحات شاسعة من الريف والبلدات الضئيلة. تدور رواية اللعبة بخصوص عضو العصابة كارل جونسون (بالإنجليزية: Carl Johnson) ويلقب "CJ" الذي يرجع إلى لوس سانتوس قادماً من ليبرتي سيتي، عقب سماع نبأ مقتل أمه. يجد CJ أصدقائه القدامى وأسرته في وضعية بلبلة. وعلى مدار اللعبة، يكشف CJ بشكل متدرجً الحقيقة وراء مقتل أمه. الرواية فيها العديد من التماثل مع فضيحة الفساد في شرطة لوس أنجلوس في أواخر تسعينات القرن الزمن الفائت واللعبة حتى تقدم محاكاة ساخرة لأحداث شغب لوس أنجلوس في 1992. تقع فعاليات اللعبة ضمن ولاية سان أندرياس، التي مرتكزة على أقسام من ولايتي كاليفورنيا ونيفادا. تضم سان أندرياس ثلاث مدن أساسية: لوس سانتوس وألتي تشبه لوس أنجلوس وسان فييرو ألتي تشبه سان فرانسيسكو ولاس فينتورس ألتي تشبه لاس فيغاس.[1] البيئة المحيطة بتلك المدن صممت لتشبه مساحة الجنوب من الغرب للولايات المتحدة التي تتضمن على هضاب وسهول وغابات وبلدات ريفية. هناك معالم في اللعبة تشبه هذه المتواجدة في العالم الحقيقي مثل علامة Vinewood المبنية على علامة Hollywood المشهورة، وجسور سان فييرو التي تشبه جسري فورث رود وفروث نيل اللذان يربطان إدنبرة، معقل روكستار نورث، بمنطقة فايف. كما يشبه كوبري سان فييرو للسيارات كوبري سان فرانسيسكو-أوكلاند. تصل منطقة سان أندرياس 36 كيلومتر مربع، إلى حد ماً خمسة أضعاف منطقة فايس سيتي وواربع أضعاف منطقة ليبرتي سيتي المتواجدة في GTA 3 لاغير (ليست هذه المتواجدة في
GTA 4).

جيرثرو وخبير الألكترونيات زيرو (ديفيد كروس)
. بجوار قيامه بأعمال لتَنبني، يتسلسل كارل بشكل متدرجً داخل "نقابة ووكو"، وهم موردي المواد المخدرة لصالح سموك ورايدر. في النهايةً يقوم كارل بأغتيال قادة النقابة، قاتلاً رايدر ويفجر مصنع مخدراتهم. كما يقوم بإعانة ووزي في صد شر عصابة فيتنامية مسابقة في سان فييرو، يدعون أبناء الدا نانغ. يتصل زيرو بكارل ويقول له بأن صاحب المتجر (محل زيرو) قرر بيعه. يمكنه كارل أختيار شراء محل ووزي وأنقاذ عمله. ومساعدته في أغار حرب (بأستخدام الألعاب لاسلكية التحكم) مقابل غريمه بيركلي. و بعدذلك يتعرف كارل على فرد يدعى جيزي صاحب كازينو و ينفذ له بعض المهمات ليعرفه على فرد يدعى مايك تورينو و هو ربان و له صلات واسعة في السلطات و يعده بإعانته لاخراج اخوه سويت من السجن بمقابل بعض المهمات يقدمها له. وفعلا ينجح كارل بتعلم الطيران و يعاون تورينو في بعض العمليات فينفذ تورينو وعده و يطلع سويت من السجن وهذا في أعقاب قضاء كارل مدة بمدينة لاس فينتارس المبنية على مدينة لاس فيجاس و يتعاون سويت و كارل لاعادة نفوذهما في لوس سانتوس و ينجحوا في فرض السيطرة على المدينة و في أعقاب هذا بقليل تحدث محاكمة تينبيني على قضايا الفساد التي هو متورط فيها و إلا أن تحدث تبرأته نتيجة لـ قلة الدلائل ثم يحصل شغب نتيجة لـ تبرأة تينبيني .عقب هذا يقتل كارل بيج سمووك انتقاما منه و يتخلص مع اخيه من الضابط تينيبيني عقب ملاحقته بشوارع لوس سانتوس و فقده إحكام القبضة على عربة المطافي التي كان يقودها و ينقلب بها من فوق كوبري و يلقى حتفه و ينتهي الشغب و يقطن كارل و سويت في سلام اخيرا في أعقاب قتل سمووك الذي اتحد مع البالاس و تينبيني و صديقه الاخر بالاسكي. الكودات أو مفردات الغش أو Cheat codes هي أفضلية دعمتها اللعبة وتتمثل في إدخال كود محدد -حدده مسبقا المطورون- خلال اللعب للاستحواز على نتيجة ما بلا القيام بالمراحل الطبيعية للحصول عليها. فمثلا للاستحواز على أضخم نسبة Respect أو تبجيل على المستهلك إتمام المهمات والتمرد على أجهزة الأمن. أما باستخدام كيفية مفردات الغش فإنه يدخل عبارة worshipme بكل بساطة للاستحواز على اقصى تبجيل في اللعبة حتى لو لم ينفذ أي هامة تماما. إلا أن يجدر الذكر بأن تلك الكيفية يقع تأثيرها على سلامة الالتحاق فأحيانا تتم حالات تتلف فيها ملفات الاشتراك (Save files) نتيجة لـ كثرة الكودات أو تضاربها ويصبح من المستحيل إسترجاعها. كما أن مفردات الغش هي جزء رسمي من اللعبة وضعه المطورين في اللعبة بكامل إرادتهم، وهي ليست نوعاً من الاختراق أو التهكير أو أي شيء من ذلك القبي
